Our Facilities and Learning Spaces
Our nursery operates from a spacious semi-detached property, offering well-equipped classrooms, a dedicated kitchen, and a secure outdoor play area. With four purpose-designed classrooms, children are grouped by age to support their developmental milestones. Our low staff-to-child ratio enables small-group learning, ensuring individual attention for every child. We provide a welcoming environment where children can explore, learn, and thrive, supported by experienced staff who nurture their curiosity and growth.

Meet Some Of Our Practitioners
Fehmida – Proprietor, Safeguarding Officer and Finance Funding Leader
Fehmida leads our nursery with extensive experience and qualifications, including a Montessori Diploma, EYFS Foundation Degree, and NVQ Level 4 in Management. Her expertise in leadership, paediatric first aid, and safeguarding ensures our nursery offers a safe, nurturing environment. With her passion for early years education and commitment to excellence, Mrs Gangji plays a key role in maintaining high standards of care, supporting children's development, and guiding our dedicated team of professionals.
Iria – Manager and SENDCO Lead
Iria combines her Montessori training with a BSc in Psychology and BA in Education, creating a well-rounded approach to child development. Her expertise includes promotion of positive behaviour, knowledge of the early years guidance and curriculum, safeguarding, and first aid, ensuring children's well-being and safety. With additional training in EYFS and the different areas of education, Iria adapts the curriculum guidance to respond to children’s needs, promoting resilience. confidence, and social skills. Her compassionate teaching style creates a positive learning environment where children feel valued and supported.
Susan – Safeguarding Officer & Deputy
Susan is a senior member whose children attended Streatham Montessori around 30 years ago. She joined the nursery around 30 years ago after her children attended Streatham Montessori in 1990. She is our dedicated Deputy with an NVQ Level 3 Diploma and in house experience in Montessori Curriculum. Her expertise includes safeguarding, paediatric first aid, and EYFS principles, ensuring all children receive personalised support. Susan's knowledge of food hygiene, ITC Level 2, and child development allows her to create inclusive learning environments where every child feels valued. Her caring approach and specialist training make her an invaluable part of our team, supporting children's emotional well-being and growth.
Natalie – Strawberry Class Room Leader & Sign language
Natalie is an early years practitioner with training in SENCO, Sign language, and promoting positive behaviour. Her expertise includes working with children on the autistic spectrum, developing inclusive practices, and enhancing learning through interactive play. Natalie's passion for education helps children build essential skills, encouraging independence and creativity. With safeguarding, EYFS. She ensures every child feels supported and inspired in their learning journey.
Jasmine – Strawberry Class Teacher
Jasmine attended our nursery as a baby followed by her siblings. She has trained as a Montessori Practitioner and a Graduate in Early Years with extensive childcare qualifications, including Cache Level 3 and safeguarding. Her experience in outdoor learning and interactive play enables her to create dynamic lessons that engage and inspire children. Jasmine's focus on early years education promotes positive social interaction, emotional well-being, and skill development. Her dedication ensures children thrive in a stimulating environment that encourages them to explore and grow.
Fadila – Strawberry Class Teacher
Fadila joined the nursery 8 years ago. She is a dedicated teacher with Cache Level 3 and Level 2 childcare qualifications. Her training in paediatric first aid, food safety, and EYFS ensures children are cared for in a secure environment. Fadila’s knowledge of child development allows her to create engaging lessons that nurture creativity and imagination. Her focus on building children's confidence and social skills makes her an essential part of our nursery team.
Hansani – Rainbow Class Room Leader
Hansani is a Montessori-trained teacher with extensive childcare qualifications, including Cache Level 3, safeguarding, and autism awareness. Her experience in outdoor learning and interactive play enables her to create dynamic lessons that engage and inspire children. Hansani's focus on early years education promotes positive social interaction, emotional well-being, and skill development. Her dedication ensures children thrive in a stimulating environment that encourages them to explore and grow.
Ann – Rainbow Class Teacher
Ann is a Montessori-trained teacher with extensive childcare experience in Sri Lanka and Dubai. She has safeguard training, and autism awareness. Currently she is undertaking the Maths challenge training. Her experience in outdoor learning and interactive play enables her to create dynamic lessons that engage and inspire children. Ann's focus on early years education promotes positive social interaction, emotional well-being, and skill development. Her dedication ensures children thrive in a stimulating environment that encourages them to explore and grow.
Jesica – Butterfly Class Teacher
Jesica is a dedicated Butterfly Class Teacher with L5 qualifications. Her skills in paediatric first aid, risk assessment, and hygiene ensure children's health and safety are prioritised. Jesica's warm and encouraging approach helps children feel comfortable exploring new ideas and developing essential skills. Her commitment to fostering independence and creativity makes her a valued team member.
Lwam – Butterfly Class Room Leader
Lwam joined the nursery 8 years ago, holds is an experienced Early Years L3 Practitioner and is trained in safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid, risk assessment and Hygiene. Her engaging teaching methods show her dedication to promoting early years learning. Lwam ensures children feel safe, supported, and motivated to explore new concepts. With her caring approach and focus on individual learning needs, Lwam encourages each child to develop confidence, independence, and curiosity in a nurturing environment.
Naima – Butterfly Class Teacher
Naima is an Early Years Professional L2 & L3 qualified in childcare. She brings extensive experience. Her safeguarding and computer knowledge qualifications enhance her ability to deliver engaging lessons that combine practical learning and creative play. Naima’s caring approach and ability to connect with children ensure they feel supported, encouraged, and confident as they explore new learning opportunities.
Afna – Butterfly Class Teacher
Afna is a Montessori-trained teacher. She has safeguard training and Paediatric First aid training. Afna’s focus on early years education promotes positive social interaction, emotional well-being, and skill development. Her dedication ensures children thrive in a stimulating environment that encourages them to explore and grow.
Taylor – Music & Movement Teacher
Taylor leads our music and movement sessions, encouraging children to express themselves creatively through rhythm, song, and dance. Her engaging classes promote physical development, social interaction, and confidence. With her caring nature and passion for music, Taylor creates a fun, inspiring space where children can explore their creativity while developing essential coordination skills.
Delores – Cook
Delores joined us 14 years ago, and is an experienced Chef, ensures our children enjoy nutritious, freshly prepared meals that support their growth and well-being. Her dedication to maintaining high hygiene standards and creating balanced menus ensures children receive wholesome food that fuels their learning and play. Delores' passion for cooking ensures enjoyable mealtimes, all dietary needs are met, and contributes to a positive experience at our nursery.
